Members of this group have had, or have, or have known someone, or know someone who has carcinoid cancer. As with any type of cancer, it is a difficult cancer to have.

A slow-growing type of tumor usually found in the gastrointestinal system (most often in the small intestine and rectum), and sometimes in the lungs or other sites is called carcinoid cancer.
